FADE HAIRCUTS

Fade haircuts have been popular for many years and this trend is likely to carry on into 2020 and beyond. The fade haircut is generally with short hair however over the last couple of years this has changed combining a low or high fade with short or long hair on top. With such a variety of fades to get at The Barbershop Project there will always be a fade to suit everyone’s style.

LOW FADE HAIRCUT

The low fade haircut is by far the most popular cut. Low fades start just above the ears and curve around the hairline down to the neck. It’s versatile and can be added to any short or long men’s hairstyle to achieve a clean cut finish on the back and sides.

HIGH FADE HAIRCUT

The high fade haircut is one of the shortest ways to cut your hair at the back and sides giving you an edgy look. Here at The Barbershop Project the blending starts high on the head and shortens much faster than a low or mid fade emphasizing the hairstyle on top.

SKIN FADE HAIRCUT

The Skin fade is a favourite here at the Barbershop project. It is a super clean and high contrast style.

CURLY HAIR TAPER FADE

This is a great hairstyle if you struggle with your curly hair. This taper haircut will definitely change your mind, it can be as simple as towel drying your hair applying a curl enhancing cream and simply walking out the door, quick and easy!

BUZZ CUT FADE

If you are looking for a little to no effort hairstyle then you have come to the right place. The perfect shape up makes the short style look striking, this buzz cut fade is the perfect wash and go style suitable for all hair types. Get booked in now at The Barbershop Project to achieve this edgy cut.

MODERN FRENCH CROP

The French crop is a timeless haircut that is the ideal low maintenance haircut while still being up to date with the trends. Perfect for relatively short hair and requires minimal styling which our Birmingham Barbers suggest is great for those who don’t have the time to style a quiff or pompadour. It often involves a taper fade or undercut with short hair on top with a fringe.

MEDIUM SIDE SWEPT HAIRSTYLE

This modern side swept hairstyle is super on trend, and the combed over look pairs especially well with a beard. It is a perfect style for men who have thick medium length hair. To style our Birmingham Barbers advise to simply brush hair to one side and use a texture spray or medium hold pomade to give it a slightly messy look.

LONG HAIR & BEARD

More guys are starting to grow their hair out to longer lengths as this trend continues to go strong. Messy and textured or shiny and pulled back this hairstyle is suitable for all hair types. Our Birmingham barbers think this long hairstyle with a short beard is the way to go to achieve a masculing but fashionable look. To style add a small amount of mousse to damp hair before blow drying or allow to air dry.

MODERN POMPADOUR

There is a huge variety of ways to style a pompadour however, this side swept look is a popular one at The Barbershop Project. This style is most suitable for those with thick straight hair but can also be adapted to work with other hair types. Try pairing this with a short undercut!
