Biography:
About me
Hi I am the founder of stylebook as-well as being a hairdresser. Based in Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham.
I am committed to both careers therefore I will be splitting my week doing hairdressing Thursday and Fridays, for special occasions or shift workers I will work other days to accommodate.
I’ve been hairdressing for thirty years now and still love it.
I would say I specialise in all aspects hairdressing but bobs, short and gents are my forte.
I started at the age of sixteen at Saks Bishop Auckland, going onto Manager at Elite Hair and Beauty and then owning my own salon in Middlesbrough.
To further my career I moved to Manchester and branched out into hair and makeup for theatre and television, Shrek the musical and Lion King were just a couple of some of the productions I have worked on.
Whilst in Manchester I completed my PGCE for teaching and taught at the Manchester College for a while.
At present I’m still enjoying being a hairstylist as well being the founder of Stylebook Directory.
