A quirky little salon with an industrial finish , situated in the middle of Howden le wear. It has a beauty lounge and a barber station on the 1st floor which both do a wide range of services to suit your needs. At the lab we pride ourselves in giving a very high standard of professional customer service and love nothing more than making clients feel good about themselves when leaving the salon , we are an extremely friendly and down to earth team and you will be greeted with a lovely smile and a lush hot drink !

Hiya I’m Marley , I’ve just completed my level 1 and 2 in hairdressing at bishop auckland college I’m new to the salon floor as a trainee stylist. I love all aspects of hairdressing from cutting to colouring and styling hair, I also love doing hair transformations. I love making clients smile when they see the finished result of their hair at the end of their appointment.I’m currently studying level 3 in hairdressing and cannot wait to see we’re my career takes me, I recently won apprentice of the month with concept hair magazine which I was over the moon about it give me the confidence and boost I needed to start in the salon floor 🧡✂️🧡

My name is Deanna and I work at Meraki Hair Lab as an apprentice so whilst working 4 days a week in the salon I also go to Bishop Auckland college 1 day a week. The team that I work with at Meraki Hair Lab has done everything to support me and helped me to develop new skills within the salon.
