Join the ONE VOICE Movement

Have you seen that our industry bodies and influential trade publications are coming together under ONE VOICE?   

They are calling on everyone within the hair, barbering, and beauty sector to join together to have a great impact by requesting that VAT be cut from 20% to 10% to help alleviate the decline in employment and apprenticeships across the industry.

You might remember the ‘Save Our Salons’ campaign and protest in March 2025 asking for tax reform ahead of the budget.   Many have continued to campaign, and the new ONE VOICE hopes to bring everyone together for a greater push.   They are asking everyone in the industry to send their MP a letter to request a VAT reduction, and they have created a handy template here.
